Country houses are always especially cosy. There’s a simple rustic atmosphere, a lot of wooden furniture and garden flowers, some casualness in the interior…
I love to see how people build country houses for seasonal holidays. And today I will show you one of these projects.
This house belongs to a family with two children. I like the zoning space here, a very unusual solution. Parents’ bedroom, children’s room, living room and kitchen – all these rooms are like one loft.
And so, we enter the house. At the entrance, guests are immediately in a single living space.
This is what the kitchen area looks like. We can see here working, not decorative fireplace, stylish wooden table, rustic woven rugs, outdoor way of storing dishes… Yes, the space is used wisely. It’s probably very nice to have breakfast or dinner with the whole family here.
Another view of the kitchen and living room. There are many places to sit. Chairs, poufs, sofas…
There is another table a little bit away from the kitchen. It is usually used for board games or work at a laptop. The stairs lead to a small attic room.
But this is how the bedrooms of parents and children are zoned. It is interesting and unusual. Do you agree? On the one hand it is comfortable. On the other hand there’s no privacy.
For permanent life, this layout is unlikely to be suitable. But for weekend trips is a good decision.
And finally… the view that opens from the windows of this country house. The river is only a few steps away. On the shore you can see the dining area with a table and a barbecue, as well as a small boat that belongs to this family.
